Michael Maartensz
Managing Director & Owner
Turfcare WA Director and Owner, Michael Maartensz is the driving force behind Turfcare WA's development and growth over the past decade. With over 21 years in the industry, Michael's has vast expertise across golf course and tennis court construction, facility management of major sporting venues, large scale local government renovation projects and specialised sports turf consultancy.
Michael is highly qualified in turf management and renovation and is renowned for his technical knowledge and training. He oversees all aspects of the company's activities and is closely involved in the development of the business, communication with clients and service delivery.
Cameron Sutherland
General Manager
Cameron has been in the turf industry for over 27 years with over 12 years’ experience facility managing major sporting venues such as the WACA, Belmont Park Racetrack and Ascot Racetrack. Cameron is regarded as one of Australia’s elite turf consultants and has recently worked with the State Government to write the specifications for the new Perth Stadium.
Leading the Turfcare WA operation, the whole team benefit from his level of experience, as do each and every one of our clients.
Ben Wood
Turf Services Manager
With over 10 years in the industry, Ben Wood has extensive experience in sports turf renovation and spraying, both in a confined area application and broad acre. Ben has been working for Turfcare WA for over 5 years and has been responsible for client communication, project management, team management and training.
Corey Clark
Contracts & Construction Manager
Corey brings a diverse background both in the turf industry and business and personnel management to the role to provide all-round staff, contractor and turf management to this role. Corey has 10 years’ experience in turf management starting at the WACA Ground where he completed his apprenticeship in Turf Management. He has since expanded to include golf course management, facility management of major sporting and educational venues including UWA and Perth College and large scale local government turf maintenance projects.
