The Company currently provides facility management, sports surface construction, mowing, renovation and spray application services for 21 local government councils, 10 private schools and over 120 sporting clubs across Western Australia and are familiar with scheduling services to accommodate sporting club play requirements and complying with local government environmental policies and standards.

With a combined 420 years of experience in the Turf Industry, the Turfcare WA team has enables us to differentiate ourselves in the market by being a significant source of expertise, knowledge and skill for our company and the client. Across our ever-expanding team we have a range of experience levels from apprentices to senior turf managers with 35 years in the turf industry.

Heritage

Our progressive approach to everything we do is based on the most solid foundation that comes from 35 years of experience. Since the 1980s, our company has provided facility management, renovation, maintenance and construction services to premium sports turf surfaces, local government and commercial sporting and recreational venues across Western Australia.

Growth

With a lifetime of experience, second generation owner Michael Maartensz has built the company into Western Australia's leading turf management company over the past decade. Turfcare WA founder, Fred Maartensz was regarded as one of WA's finest turf curators and began his first facility management contract at Dalkeith Tennis Club 39 years ago.

Michael has carried on this tradition and still manages the grass court facility at the Dalkeith Tennis Club as well as building on his father's reputation by managing six other tennis centers, four private schools, three croquet clubs, four cricket clubs, two golf courses, the University of Western Australia and 190 public schools for the Department of Education. Over the past 20 years the Company has spread its turf contracting services into the local government sector, servicing 21 of WA's local government councils.

Turfcare WA is a gold sponsor of both Men's Health and Wellbeing, promoting men's health in WA, and the Sports Turf Association (STA), who support the Western Australian turf industry. Turfcare WA strongly believes in supporting non-for-profit organisations who provide Company staff with health and industry development. The Company is also Major Sponsor and Turf Development Partner of Football West and the WA Suburban Turf Cricket Association (WASTCA), providing much needed funding and support for grass root sports. Turfcare WA is also a certified preferred supplier on the WALGA Parks and Landscape Maintenance panel.
