As you are aware the WA State Government has announced a five-day metro lockdown effective 6pm Sunday 31st January with introduced measures for essential workers or those who cannot work from home. As such, effective from 6pm last night, our business support staff who can, will work from home for the week of lockdown. We are fortunate to have had these flexible arrangements in place since March 2020 so there will be no disruption with staff still available on mobile and email contact for client enquiries and servicing. For our staff who cannot work from home, additional measures and precautions will be implemented in our workshop and office, as necessary.
Regarding onsite turf maintenance work, Turfcare WA have supplied all onsite operators with appropriate masks. As per the Company’s Coronavirus Procedure and State Government Guidelines, these masks will be worn at all times, social distancing and hand hygiene will be practiced and personal contact will be reduced where practicable. The majority of our turf maintenance work is completed by single operators who are either in enclosed cabs or machines which operate under a 10-metre buffer zone from the public. As such, our team has minimal contact with the public and each other in our daily activities.
Should additional requirements specific to your company’s worksite be required, we will comply as necessary to ensure for these 5 days we are able to deliver our services safely and continuously.
This is an evolving situation; however, emergency response planning over the last 10 months of the pandemic has enabled us to ensure we can effectively maintain our service levels in the least disruptive way possible, whilst maintaining a high level of personal safety for our staff, the public and you, our clients, respectively.
Our services will continue as normal to enable the sporting surfaces and passive areas at your business to remain in good condition for the continued enjoyment of stakeholders and ratepayers.
